Training for operators: preparing quality mobility for NEETs

Within the EuMove project, partners have launched an online training programme dedicated to mobility operators, educators and youth professionals working with NEETs (young people not in employment, education or training). The initiative aims to enhance participants’ competences in organising, managing and evaluating high-quality mobility experiences, ensuring that every stage of the process, from outreach to recognition, supports inclusion and learning.

The programme consists of six online modules running from October to December 2025, coordinated by Uniser, Open Formazione, Mundus and Mondego. Each module focuses on a key aspect of the mobility process: setting up the programme framework, identifying and engaging NEETs, selecting and preparing participants before departure, defining and assessing learning outcomes and microcredentials, managing logistics and company matching, and evaluating results after mobility. The sessions combine theoretical input with practical tools, case studies and peer exchange moments, promoting collaboration and a shared European approach.

This online phase will be complemented by a three-day on-site training in Zaragoza, from 15 to 17 December 2025. The event will include workshops on using digital platforms such as Moving Generation and MICOO to manage mobilities and certify competences, along with sessions on emotional support, intercultural preparation and crisis management. Field visits and group discussions will help translate theory into practice.

By investing in the professional development of operators, EuMove ensures that mobility becomes not only a physical journey but also a structured learning experience that recognises and values each step of young people’s growth, contributing to a more inclusive and competence-based Europe.
