Report from the training week in Zaragoza

Within the framework of the European EU Move project, a series of training sessions were recently held, bringing together European partners from Spain, Italy, and Portugal in Zaragoza. The main objective of these sessions was to strengthen transnational cooperation, share knowledge, and move forward with the effective implementation of the project, which focuses on mobility and inclusion of NEET.

The first day was dedicated to the official welcome of participants and the general presentation of the EuMove project, including its objectives, work lines, and expected results. This was followed by a session on the exchange of good practices, during which each country had the opportunity to share previous experiences related to youth mobility and the social and labour inclusion of NEETs. This session was carried out through participatory dynamics and a joint brainstorming activity, allowing innovative ideas to emerge and synergies between partners to be identified.

In the evening, the participants visited one of the companies that could host the young people for their internships. It is the exclusive Mercado Puerta Cinegia, a gastronomic market in the heart of Zaragoza. After visiting the kitchens of the various restaurants located here, all the training participants were able to take part in a dinner organized for them in a magnificent hall.

The second day focused on the practical learning of key project tools. In the morning, participants received training on the use of the Moving Generation Platform, a platform designed to improve monitoring and optimise the management of international mobilities. In the afternoon, visiting partners had the opportunity to visit potential accommodation facilities for Neets during their mobility periods, enabling an assessment of the conditions, accessibility, and suitability of the spaces to meet the young people’s needs.

Wednesday was dedicated to the micro-credentials session and the use of the Micoo platform, a key tool for skills recognition. During this day, the training focused on real-life scenarios and practical simulations, in which participants learned how to handle and manage different emergency situations that could arise during mobility experiences, ensuring proper and safe support for NEETs.

The participants than visit another location that could host the project’s training internships. This is Aura Restaurante, a place suitable for hosting any type of event, offering high-quality cuisine.

The afternoon was dedicated to a cultural visit of the city center to promote the knowledge of the beautiful city of Zaragoza.

These training sessions represented a key space for learning, coordination, and strengthening networking among the European partners of the EuMove project.

And now that the entire EuMove team is trained and prepared, we are ready to meet the candidates for the mobility experiences!
