Departure of the first mobilities
Within the EuMove project, activities are now officially underway, marking the start of an important phase dedicated to promoting inclusion, learning and mobility opportunities for NEET youth. The first mobility flow is about to begin, representing a significant step in supporting young people who are not in employment, education or training, and offering them a transformative personal and professional experience.
This initiative aims to provide participants with direct exposure to real working environments, while also promoting intercultural exchange and the development of language skills. By engaging with different cultures, professional contexts and everyday life abroad, young people will be able to strengthen their key competences, increase their confidence and improve their future employability prospects.
In this first mobility flow, IAC (Portugal) will send five young participants to Bologna between 30 April and 23 May, hosted by UNISER. It will also send another five participants to Zaragoza between 13 June and 4 July, hosted by MUNDUS. In addition, Open Formazione (Italy) will send 5 persons to Coimbra during the period 30 April to 23 May, hosted by Mondego.
To ensure a successful and meaningful experience, all participants are currently attending structured preparation activities, including language courses and orientation sessions. These steps are essential to support their adaptation to new environments, facilitate cultural integration and maximise the impact of the mobility experience
Overall, EuMove aims to empower young people through international mobility, transforming learning into a practical, inclusive and truly enriching experience that supports their personal growth and professional development.
