EuMove project is ready to start its second round of international mobility experiences

The second round of international mobility experiences of the EuMove project are about to begin. Between June and July, four groups of young people will travel across Europe to take part in work-based learning experiences designed to strengthen their skills, confidence and employability. The mobilities represent a major milestone for the project, which aims to make international learning opportunities more accessible and inclusive for young people who are not in education, employment or training.

The upcoming mobility flows are:

Italy → Zaragoza (Spain)

Portugal → Zaragoza (Spain)

Spain → Bologna (Italy)

Spain → Coimbra (Portugal)

Each group will consist of five participants, accompanied by one support professional who will help ensure a positive and successful learning experience throughout the mobility.

Before departure, all participants have completed an intensive preparation phase organised by their sending organisations (Instituto de apoio a crianca; Open formazione; CFP Valle de Tena). This personalised preparation included individual tutoring, language training, and a pre-departure meeting covering both pedagogical and practical aspects of the mobility. Participants explored topics such as intercultural awareness, workplace expectations, personal objectives, travel arrangements and daily life in the host country, ensuring they feel confident and well prepared for their experience abroad. These activities reflect the EuMove methodology, which was created by partners in the first half for the project and complemented by a toolkit.

During their experiences abroad, participants will be followed by the hosting partners: Uniser; Mundus and Mondego which provided logistic support and matching with the local companies. The mobilities offer an opportunity to build autonomy and discover new working perspectives that could lead to a new occupation or further training.

Stay tuned!!
